When staying in Virginia Beach, you can choose from plenty of activities to engage in. National wildlife reserves, museums, zoos, aquariums, and plenty of historical sights to keep even the youngest visitor entertained. Some of the most popular Virginia Beach museums include the Atlantic Wildfowl Heritage Museum where visitors can learn about the different wildfowl native to the area, and the Contemporary Art Center of Virginia. The Art Center also hosts many of the outdoor festivals that entertain hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.
In addition to the museums, tourists are also delighted to visit the Virginia Marine Science Museums where they can partake in an Ocean Excursion that may include both dolphin and whale watching tours. It’s always a good idea to check ahead as tours run by season.
