Don Carroll has been in the rental car business since the age of 16. His car rental career has taken him from North Carolina, to Florida, to Georgia, and back to North Carolina where he now manages the Gastonia Triangle Rent A Car branch. With over 18 years of car rental experience, Don knows how to provide a fantastic car rental experience for every customer.

There is plenty of shopping to be found in Gastonia, North Carolina. In fact, there are three major shopping centers here. People traveling through the area and that live in surrounding towns come to spend the day looking around. These shops also draw huge crowds for holiday shopping.
At Akers Center you will find plenty of affordable shops. The Super Target is one of the most popular. There is also a very large Toys R Us. If you are interested in shopping at some more expensive stores go to the Eastridge Mall. Here you will find more than 150 stores including Dillard’s and JC Penney’s.
The Gaston Mall also has plenty of clothing stores, but this is an outlet mall. That means you can look like you paid a fortune for your clothing without really having to. There are hundreds of stores found here so plan on spending the day at this particular mall.
For those that love antiques, there is a mall for that too. Past Times Antique Mall is full of unique treasures. Collectors come from hundreds of miles away to find out what they have to offer. There are a handful of smaller antique stores in the area as well that you can look into.
During the warmer parts of the year, you can enjoy Gastonia’s Farmers Market. Here you will find delicious fruits, vegetables, and breads offered. This only takes place on particular days though so make sure you plan in advance. You can also buy and trade crafts while you are here.
