It seems as though teenagers have learned how to combine looking cool with economic stability.

The list was compiled from a recent survey that tested the buying behavior of teens and 20-something drivers. According to Gretchen Jammiggeh, and executive for McCarthy Chevrolet in Olathe, Kansas, younger drivers are well informed when it comes to their future vehicles and an array of environmental issues.

“They know exactly what they’re looking for when they come in the door. And they can relate that to how issues like the current economy and the environment connect to automotive choices.”

It truly amazes me to see the progression that the younger generation has made in their decisions. Teens are no longer solely concerned with looking cool, but car safety and functionality has become a top priority and automakers are recognizing this and trying to make car buying more fun.
