2)   Crossword Puzzles and Sudoku: These will keep your brain active while on the boring drive.  They can also be passed around or solved as a team to get everyone involved.

7)   Cards:  Bring an old-fashioned deck of cards to entertain your children with the timeless activity of card games.  If your kids are bored of the regular games, pick up a book of card games to change it up for a few hours of fun while driving in your Columbus car rental.

8)   Driving Games:  There are a few games that are great in the car to be played between any number of people.  A few of these are: 20 Questions, the License Plate Game, I-Spy, and the Alphabet Game.  You can again make this into a marathon with prizes.  These are great while traveling as the new, changing scenery will inspire new topics and questions.

10) Electronic Entertainment:  Nintendo DS’s, PSPs, and other electronic gaming devices are great entertainment for children.  Also, bring movies with a portable DVD player or laptop to have a fun family movie time while in your Columbus car rental.

11) Music:  Bring along an iPod, mp3, or CDs to add some harmony to your drive.  Make a game out of it by playing snippets of each song and get other riders in the car to guess which song it is.
